Bali might be a dream holiday spot, but it can end up being very expensive, with flights often costing more than £1,000.
On top of that, the journey can take over 17 hours, which makes it tricky for many people to visit.
But there is a place much closer to home (and far cheaper) that gives a similar tropical feel to the Indonesian island.

Budget travel specialists at Holiday Pirates have pointed to Alicante as the ideal option for anyone wanting that Bali-style vibe without the huge price tag.
They have shared a two-night break costing just £235 per person for two people, recommending a stay at the five-star Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa, which can be booked through Trivago.
They matched this with flights from London Gatwick to Alicante on November 4, returning on November 6, costing only £34 with easyJet.
When sharing the deal, the team said: "This offer is for November, when Alicante usually has lovely temperatures, and you can still enjoy four heated swimming pools set to around 30C from October to May."
Inside the hotel, guests will find Balinese-style rooms, several beautiful indoor and outdoor pools, and the chance to have a massage in wooden stilt houses surrounded by peaceful gardens, giving a real Thai-style spa feeling.

People who have stayed at the hotel have shared glowing reviews on Trivago, with one writing: "A fabulous hotel. We stay there and never leave the hotel, it is so lovely. Wide range of dining.
"Best thing is the fantastic atmospheric gardens. Some furniture in our room was just starting to look a little worn, but hardly noticeable."
Another guest said: "Beautiful resort with amazing pools and gardens. Wonderful amenities for children. It’s a bit dated but very well maintained."
The Asia Gardens hotel is in a great spot for exploring Alicante, Finestrat, and the well-loved resort of Benidorm.
