Pretty Spanish holiday spot praised for its ‘perfect’ weather with £44 flights

The weather in the UK might be pleasant right now, but it is unlikely to last forever. When the rain returns, many people start looking for somewhere warmer to escape to for a short break.

For anyone hoping to save money on a holiday, TikTok travel creator @emsbudgettravels suggests visiting this hidden gem.

She shared a full cost breakdown for her trip, including flights from her small local airport in Norwich.

Em explained that she flew with Ryanair and found what she described as the best deal she had ever seen. Her return flights cost just £44 and were at very convenient times.

Because of the flight schedule, she said she was able to make the most of her time away. It also meant she only needed to arrive at the airport 45 minutes before departure due to its small size.

She also pointed out that she could even walk to the airport after work if her flight left at 6.30pm. This meant she did not need to take any extra time off work.

Em then showed viewers where they stayed during the trip. They booked an apartment in Alicante through Booking.com, which cost £57.90 per person for two nights.

She said the place was a great choice as it had everything they needed. The apartment was clean, comfortable and right in the city centre.

While in Alicante, Em spent £50.30 on food and drinks. She said this was very reasonable, especially as they ate out for every single meal.

She also shared her transport costs, which came to £6.62. She used an old airport bus card and added 10 trips, meaning she still had some credit left. After buying a £1.04 fridge magnet, her total spend for the trip was £159.86.

Alicante is a stunning seaside city in the south east of Spain, set along the Mediterranean Sea in the Valencian Community.

It is well known for mixing history with beautiful beaches, lively culture and a strong food scene.
