If you want a cheap break over Easter or the bank holidays, this could be a great option.
A European country recently nicknamed the Maldives of Europe has caught attention, and flights from the UK can cost as little as £15. It is an ideal choice for travellers who want somewhere different and less crowded this year.
Even better, the country is home to a beach named one of the quietest in Europe and a top hidden spot for early sunshine.

Livadhi Beach has been highlighted as one of the least busy beaches on the continent. This makes it perfect for anyone who enjoys relaxing in the sun away from crowds.
Livadhi Beach came 19th on Wizz Air’s list of Europe’s least crowded beaches.
With its clear turquoise water and calm atmosphere, it offers a peaceful seaside escape. This Balkan destination is known for its long and scenic beach along the Albanian Riviera.
Visitors can enjoy clean, clear water, free parking and useful facilities such as restaurants and camping areas, all adding to its laid back feel.
To reach Livadhi Beach, travellers should fly into Tirana International Airport, which is the closest major airport to the town of Himarë where the beach is located.

There are several budget friendly ways to get from the UK to Albania’s capital. Direct flights from London to Tirana usually cost around £193 on average.
However, earlier this year flights from London Luton to Tirana were available for just £14.99 with Wizz Air, meaning prices can drop at certain times.
The flight from London to Tirana takes roughly three hours. A number of airlines operate direct routes, including Ryanair and Wizz Air.
From Tirana Airport, Livadhi Beach is around 170 to 180 kilometres away. Depending on traffic, the drive usually takes about three hours. While taxis are fairly priced, it is still a long journey to reach the coast.
