According to The Telegraph, Venice ranks top for an affordable autumn escape.

Airfare to Venice is much cheaper in October and November, making it a great choice for those wanting a fall holiday.

The city of water ranked close to Nice and Prague as an affordable destination, even though it’s a favourite with tourists.

However, it’s worth noting that costs in Venice can be high, but the flights there were some of the cheapest.

Lonely Planet also shares that Venice can be enjoyed on a budget with a few clever tips. Many attractions are free, the city centre is easy to walk around, and you can find budget-friendly food.

Venice’s restaurants can be pricey, but eating cheaply is easier than people think. Cicchetti, which are bar snacks similar to Spanish tapas, are very popular here.
