It might not have soft sand, but this beach is known for its "unbelievably" blue water and "endless" peaceful views.
A beach in Greece has been named one of the top spots in Europe for 2025, thanks to its "picture-perfect" setting.
This hidden gem on the island of Andros is described as "a local's haven" and "blissfully" quiet, with very few tourists, according to Condé Nast Traveller.

Even though it’s not a sandy beach, Vitali is praised for its "unbelievably" blue water and wide, "undisturbed" views, according to the same guide.
You’ll find the beach on the north-eastern coast of Andros, about 22 miles (35km) from Chora and 9 miles (15km) from Gavrio.
There is a road from Gavrio to Vitali, but around half of it is a narrow track, so it’s best to go by motorbike or jeep.
A beach bar is open during summer, and you’ll also find a few sunbeds and umbrellas to rent.

The water is incredibly clear, and the beach is surrounded by rocky hills, giving it a peaceful, wild feel.
Since it’s made of pebbles, not sand, Vitali is great for diving and is a good place to visit even on windy days.
Still, Vitali Beach is "well worth the journey" and considered a "must-see" on any trip to the island, says Condé Nast Traveller.
The nearest airport to Andros is Athens International. From there, you can take a 30-minute bus to Rafina and then hop on a ferry to the island.
Hotels recommended by Booking.com include Paradise Art Hotel, Anemomiloi Andros Boutique Hotel, Camara Suites, Casa Di Fiori Andros Suites, and Androck Heaven Retreat.
